(Giles' Townhouse - Early Morning)
Giles smiled at the sleeping form of his slayer, she was finally his. Last night they had made love for the first time, and now, here they lay, both still breathless and weak the morning after. Reaching out, Giles ran his hand along the inside of Buffy's thigh. It was feather light, and she shivered at his touch, then rolled over slowly to face him. His smile warmed her heart.
This was the way she wanted to be woken up for the rest of her life. She stretched like a cat, and purred..."Mmm,morning" His eyes crinkled as he smiled at the young woman, his young woman. His hand travelled back to her face where he cupped her cheek. He needed no words as leaned down to kiss her full lips slowly and sensuously.
Lifting her arms, Buffy wrapped them around Giles' neck and held him close. Drawing his tongue further into her mouth as hers danced with his. Moans of pleasure escaped them both as Giles removed his mouth from his Slayer's and trailed loving kisses down her throat, to the valley between her golden breasts.
He slid his tongue along her globes. Licking, tasting and sucking them pleasantly. Bringing a growl from her when his tongue swirled around one nipple. His hot breath washed over her, as his wet mouth closed around the hardening bud. Buffy arched offering even more of herself to him, as she swam in the sensations he was bringing out in her.
She cried out as the first orgasm slammed through her body. Pulling his head closer to her, Buffy silently encouraged him to deepen his ministrations as she reveled in the after glow that just flowed through out her body. Giles continued to run his tongue around her nipple, then blew his hot breath over the taunt bud. When his breath mixed with the mornings cold, it caused her tightening nipple, to send a bolt of white hot fire through her body.
Smiling to himself when he heard her moan, Giles chuckled against her breast. Buffy threw her head back and slid her hands down his back. Feeling his muscles flex and stretch under her hands. Amazed at the way his body was so different from her own. Hard and strong. Tan and sprinkled with light hair in all the right places..... Well, maybe not all that much different. expect for a few, very important things. One of which would be demanding her attention shortly.
Giles moved to give the other breast equal attention and nipped at her gently. Causing her to yelped as she dug her fingernails into his back. She smiled and whispered "Sorry." as he wrenched back in pain. Buffy pulled his head towards her own, to cover his face in kisses. He grinned as he passionately kissed her. Sliding his hungry tongue inside her mouth. Giles felt his hardening erection as it rubbed against Buffy's leg. He moaned softly as her small hands ran down his back, and over his butt.
*Ding Dong*
"Bloody hell! Not now!"
Giles groaned as Buffy squeezed his backside and he ground himself into her.
"Don't answer it." she purred, as they heard the door open and a man's voice, British, strong, cold, call out....
"Rupert? Are you Home?"
"Who the hell is that?" Buffy asked as she covered herself with the sheet whie Giles got up, grabbed his pants, and slipped them on.
"I don't know....."
Buffy moved to the end of the bed with the sheet still wrapped around her.
"Well, he did say, Rupert, you must know him? Does his voice sound familiar?"
"No, actually, it does not." Giles moved to his night stand, grabbed a stake and then handed it to Buffy.
"Here Luv"
"Wow. Always-"
Giles grabbed a crossbow out from under his bed as Buffy finished....
"Prepared, aren't you?" Grinning, they shared a brief kiss as they heard movement on the stairs. Buffy quickly ran into the bathroom as the stranger approached Giles' bedroom. She grabbed her clothes and threw them on as quickly as she could when she heard the stranger call out again.
"Giles? Come on Ol' Man. I know you're here. We need to talk."
Giles stood off towards the dresser on the opposite side of the top of the stairs. As the stranger approached, Giles snarled... "Don't move!" and held the crossbow to the side of the mans head. As Giles looked closer, the stranger held his hands up and grinned.
"Easy Rupert. I come in peace."
Giles' jaw dropped, and he suddenly broke into a grin. The stranger smiled at his elder brother and opened his arms for a hug.
"It's good to see you old chap."
"Yes, very good. It's been awhile. So long, I didn't even recognize your voice!" Giles joked as he hugged Alex close. It had been many years since they'd seen each other last. Both to busy with their separate lives to keep in touch like they should, only sending the occasional letter here and there.
Alex looked over his brothers shoulder, and grinned at the mess on the bed.
"Did I interrupt something?" he asked, chuckling good naturally. It was just at that moment Buffy chose to come out of the bathroom, dressed in white shorts, and a pink tank top. Stake at ready.
"Oh,Buffy, um.." Giles cleared his throat as his younger brother held back a wide grin.
"This is err, Alexander Giles. My brother."
"Your...you have a...wow. I didn't know that."
Buffy relaxed her fighting stance as Alex smiled and stepped forward, offering his hand. Buffy noticed the tattoo of a rattle snake on his ring finger as she shook his hand.
"It's a pleasure, Miss Summers."
"Same here." Buffy said then realized she hadn't told him her last name.
"Um, How did you know my-"
"Everyone knows of you Miss Summers. May I just say what an honor it is to finally meet you?"
His smile was charming, his voice soothing , his looks, very dangerous. Alex showed no surprise at finding Miss Summers in his brother's bedroom, he'd wondered how long these two would hold out. If the prophecy was right, and they were the chosen ones, then this had been slated to happen.
Alex smiled inwardly, he had hoped to see the fruition of this prophecy in his lifetime, it would be a great time for mankind. He knew that there was no way Giles could know of the prophecy, even the Council of Watchers lacked the knowledge. He carried the only copy of it in the whole world with him. There was no one else he trusted with it more. He knew the time had come for Giles and Buffy to take their place in another organization.
One that really was built to help mankind, and not just the people involved in running it. The thing that would shock everyone to the core was who headed the "Ophidian."
"So, whatcha doing in Sunnyhell?"
Buffy asked as Alex smiled, then sighed.
"Business, I'm afraid. Watcher stuff."
"Wow. You're a Watcher too?"
"Uh, no. I'm not. Rupert was the chosen one for that."
"So, Watchers are chosen to?"
"Um, perhaps we could take this conversation downstairs. Maybe even a little tea is in order?" Giles suggested as he took Buffy's hand and they lead the way to the living room. When they were all comfortably seated, Buffy in Giles' lap, Alex smiled.
"Very nice Rupert. I like what you've done with the place."
"You've been here before? When? Why didn't you tell me?! " Buffy asked Giles as he looked at his brother sternly. Alex stuttered...
"Oh, uh. Well, yes. Once. You'd just started your freshmen year of college, I believe."
"You and I weren't exactly talking then Buffy. Well, much at any rate. So, I just never mentioned it. I apologize."
"No, it's ok. I mean you're right. That was a bad year for us."
"Which reminds me," Alex said happily "I have a present for you two out in my car."
"Really?" Buffy's eyes light up as Giles kissed her temple, then wrapped his arms around her from behind.
"Alex, you didn't have to-"
Buffy jabbed Giles in the stomach with her elbow and smiled sweetly at Alex.
"Don't listen to him. We love gifts. LOVE them! "
Chuckling, Alex dug for the keys in his pocket and smirked...
"Well, I'm not sure how much you'll love this one, but-"
"Hey! If it's a gift, we'll love it! Right Rupert?"
"Whatever you say Luv."
"He's trained so well, isn't he?" as Giles wrapped his arms around her a little tighter to whisper something so incredibly sexy in her ear she told Alex to go get the gift out of the car and take his time. Chuckling, Alex excused himself as Buffy and Giles shared a kiss.
(Outside Giles' Home)
When Alex started walking towards his car, he sensed something, or someone behind him, watching him. He turned around, but saw nothing unusual. He'd had that kind of feeling since he left the Sunnydale Airport, that he wasn't alone. That everywhere he went, something was watching him.
His feelings were usually right on target with that kind of stuff. So before grabbing the book, Alex looked around one last time, then opened the trunk of his car. He removed the present he brought for Buffy and Giles, shut the trunk, then blackness overcame him as his body slammed into the ground.
A mans voice, low, deep, rough barked at his compsnion...
"Now throw him in the car and take that box inside to them. I wanna know what and how much they know about this prophecy! Then, you find that damn book and get it to me!"
"Yes sir."
(Inside Giles Home)
As Giles kissed Buffy lazily....they relished in the pure joy of just that kiss, to be able to do it and do it freely was pure bliss without their friends or anyone else freaking out.
Alex re-entered the home and chuckled.
"Hey, you two. Get a room!"
Laughing, Buffy and Giles shared one more quick kiss then turned to Alex. Buffy saw the present in his hand and smiled happily.
"Ooooh is that for me? Uh, I mean, us?"
The brothers shared a smile as Alex handed the present to Buffy. It was then, by chance, that Buffy and Giles noticed the tattoo on Alex's hand was missing at the same time.
"Hey. That's cool!"
"What is?"
"Your tattoo. How it appears then disappears."
Looking down at his hand, Alex frowned.
"Oh..That. Well, That was a , um, washable one. My girlfriend's kid was playing around and asked if I would-"
"You know. I-I think perhaps some tea would be in order." Giles interrupted as he grabbed Buffy's hand and started towards the kitchen. Only Buffy pulled her hand out of his and smiled.
"No way Rupert! I wanna open this. You make the tea. Besides, you don't need me for that! I'd just ruin it," smiling, Buffy gave Giles a quick kiss then took a seat on the couch.
"Alex? Come here." Buffy patted the seat next to her. Alex smiled at his brother then took the seat next to Giles' Slayer. Giles watched him carefully.
This feeling in the pit of his stomach was killing him. Something was off. That tattoo wasn't fake. Alex had it for as long as Giles could remember. And when Hhe took a seat next to Buffy, Giles also noticed that Alex hadn't crossed his legs. Something which he'd done since Giles was a boy. Mostly out of habit, but still, he knew his brother. He never once has taken a seat and not crossed his legs. It was his way of relaxing; leaning back and taking it all in.
"Giles? Giles?!"
"Hmm?"
"Can I have some water while you Brits drink the soothing stuff?"
Smiling, Giles nodded, and walked into the kitchen. Maybe it was just him. Or maybe it was because he hadn't seen Alex in so long, his brothers habits could have changed.
Still... something was off. Something happened from the time his brother went to the car and came back Giles' instincts were always right and if not right, usually he wasn't to far off. Buffy opened the present and as she looked down at the old, wrinkled, time weathered book, her smile faded. It was a book, an old book. And in Latin? Or some other language she knew she couldn't read. She looked at Alex and smiled.
"Thank you. I'm sure Rupert will love it. I would, if I could read it." She joked. But her voice never penetrated his head. Alex's eyes were glued to the book in Buffy's hands.
"Alex? Hey? Alex? Earth to Alex...."
"Yes? What?"
Laughing, Buffy noticed Giles watching them from the kitchen.
"Are you ok?"
"Oh yeah., yeah, I'm fine. Do you like it then?"
"Of course I do. I'd like it even more If I could understand it but hey, It's something Rupert can teach me how to-"
"Damn. You know, I forgot to put the other present inside the book.."
Alex reached for the book only to have Giles grab it from behind them.
"My lord Alex. This must be older than time. Where did you find it?"
"Um, uh, look, I - I just need to see it for one moment. I forgot to put something in it. I have the present in my car. Just let me take this and-"
"Nonsense! This is more than enough brother. Thank you."
Giles took the book into the kitchen with him, studying the cover, as the tea pot went off. Buffy grinned from ear to ear.
"You know, We'll never see him again!"
"What? See who?" Alex stuttered as he watched Giles lay the book on top of the refrigerator and take the pot off the stove.
"Giles. He's like a kid when...Alex? Are you all right?"
"Yeah. Sure. I'm fine. Just uh, tired."
Alex continued to watch Giles, or more to the point, the book, as Buffy decided that the endless silence that followed needed to be broken.
"So...did you wanna be a Watcher?" Buffy prompted. When Alex ignored her, Buffy tried again." Alex? ALEX?!"
"Hmmm?"
"Did you wanna be a Watcher too?"
"Oh. Uh, No. I am not."
"Uh, yeah....I got that but-"
"Buffy?" Giles called to her from the kitchen.
"Yeah?"
"Please come here."
"Why?"
"Buffy?!"
"What?"
"Please?"
Sighing, Buffy smiled at Alex
" He'd be lost without me!"
"He probably would be." Alex grinned. Buffy chuckled as she went into the kitchen and was immediately met by a strong glare from Giles.
"Oh great. Now what did I do?!"
"Come here Please!"
"But...I wanna live!"
"Buffy. Come here please!"
Buffy stuck her lip out and pouted as she walked to her watcher and looked up at him with big puppy dog eyes. Then whispered....
"Yeah?"
Grining, Giles lifted her on top of the counter and stepped between her legs.
"Ohh Kinky! In the kitchen? In front of your brother? Giles! Why I never-"
"Buffy!"
Laughing, Buffy placed her arms around his shoulders and seductively whispered..."Yes?"
"Stop that!"
"Stop what?"
"That!"
"What?" she batted her eyes innocently as Giles rolled his.
"Buffy, that man in there...." Giles voice was low as he nipped at her throat. "is not my brother."
Buffy looked at the man watching them.
"He isn't?"
"No,he isn't. The tattoo on his left ring finger is real. It doesn't wash away. " Giles continued to nip at her neck.
"So...Instead of going in there and kicking his ass, you're going to make out with me?"
"Bloody smart ass you are! I'm doing this so he can't see or hear me talking to you!"
Laughing , Buffy slid her fingers through Giles' hair.
"Okay, but, then why didn't my spider-sense kick in?"
"If he's a shape shifter, which obviously , he is, then either he isn't bad, or you were busy thinking about other things." Giles grinned with a hint of mischief in his eyes.
"Busted." Buffy whispered seductively as Giles kissed her jaw and whispered near her ear.
"What's he doing?"
"Watching us."
"Ok. Just play along. I want to know what he wants and why he took the form of brother. More importantly, where my brother is. He must have got Alex when he went to the car. So follow my lead."
"Right." Buffy chuckled as Giles lifted his head and looked at her.
"What?"
"You were really good at that."
"So good I gave you a hickey" he smiled as Buffy looked horrified then smiled wickedly.
"Fine. After what's his face in there is dealt with, You're getting it!"
"Promises , promises." Giles mumbled as he grabbed the tea and walked into the living room.
