Willow turned around, her green eyes blazing. Giles almost took a step
back from the emotion he saw pouring out of her. His heart ached for the
young girl standing before him. He remembered what it had been like when his
first real girlfriend had left him. It had been like the world was ending.
Her words were quick to ease the empathy he felt, and feed him with a cold
anger. "And you, what would you know about pain? Even if you'd eaten 3 boxes
of the band candy there is no way you would even look at me. Only Oz ever has,
Xander only wanted me when he couldn't have me. No one wants me. I just
want the pain to stop Giles." Her eyes flashed as the spell took hold.
Giles look was cold and stony. "I will talk to you when you are no
longer acting as a child." He turned on his heel leaving the young witch to
cool down. Giles sighed and slowly made his way back to his apartment.
Willow punched her pillow as her eyes filled with tears. She couldn't
understand why no one was willing to listen to her. She was still in so
much pain over Oz leaving her. How could he do that? Why did he have to
cheat on her with Veruca? Her heart constricted even more as she remembered what
wereoz had done to her.
Giles sighed as he stepped in the shower, and felt the water course
down his naked body. It felt good to let the water spray over him. As he stood
there he thought about the pain Willow was in, and again wondered what he
could do to help her. As he pictured the redhead, he felt the familiar stirrings
of arousal. "Bloody Hell." He groaned. Since when was Willow the one he
fantasised about? His erection hardened and as he imagined Willow's
green eyes boring into his own he began to stroke himself. It was the first
time he had ever thought of her in this way, but he was sure it wouldn't be
the last. Giles came hard as he imagined Willow's greedy lips wrapped
around his throbbing manhood. "Oh god Willow." He moaned. He stood there until he
felt the water cool. He wrapped the towel around his waist and walked to the
bedroom. "Why on earth?" he thought to himself again, and he was aware
of his arousal building again as he thought of the witch. "I haven't been
like this since I was a teenager." He mused.
Giles was dressed, and his wet hair dampening his collar as the intense
craving for a cigarette hit him. It hadn't even occurred to him that
the last time he'd dressed this way had been when Joyce and they had become
rather intimate on the hood of a police car. His jeans were snug, and
the white t-shirt showed off his muscles nicely. He wrapped the checkered
shirt around his waist just in case it was cold out, or he needed to smash
open a window. Giles started for a second.. Smash open a window? Then he
smiled as he thought of Willow again.
'I'll just stop by and check on her after I buy some cigarettes.' He
thought as he left his apartment.
Willow sat alone in her dorm room, still angry at everyone and
everything. Why wouldn't they listen to her? She'd spent hours listening to
everyone else moan about their miserable love life. She sighed. Nothing had been
going right for her lately, even the do my will spell hadn't worked.
She giggled for a moment as she thought 'Will's will spell'. Then she
sighed again. There was no one around who would listen to her. 'I might as
well study, it's the one thing I know I excel at.' She lowered her head to
her books and found herself thinking about Giles. She smiled as she
remembered the crush she'd once had on him, spending as much time with him as she
could in the library. He'd relied on her back then. She sighed as a stab of
guilt wafted over her, he still relied on her and she'd let him down. 'Study
Willow, get a grip. You'll go over to Giles' later and do the truth
spell.' She convinced herself studying was more important for the moment,
refusing to admit to herself avoiding Giles her main objective.
Giles slowly made his way back to the dorms, astride a motorbike
someone had been kind enough to leave the keys in outside the supermarket where
he'd stopped to buy himself a pack of cigarettes. He parked the bike in the
parking lot, and took the keys out of the engine. He'd take the bike
back to where he'd found it eventually, and hope the person learnt their
lesson. For a moment he wondered who would be so stupid as to not only leave their
keys in the ignition and their leather jacket resting on the handlebars but
then he felt his cock harden against the fabric of the jeans. He wondered if
Willow still had the crush on him she'd had back in high school. God,
why hadn't he taken the chance when he'd had it? He grinned, 'Well I'm damn
well going to take advantage of it now.' He thought as he pulled the jacket
closer around him to protect him from the bitter wind.
Willow sighed and pushed her books away. 'Okay. I'll go take a shower
and then I'll go and see Giles.' She stood and gathered her stuff to go
down the hall to the bathroom. She was alone in the bathroom, and as she felt
the water course over her she began to feel her arousal build. 'God I wish
Oz was here.' She thought. She washed her hair and made sure she scrubbed
every part of her body clean. When she had scrubbed herself so that her skin
was tingling she allowed herself to crouch down into a small ball and began
to cry. She just let the tears fall, mingling with the water. It was all
so hard, her heart was breaking and no one cared. She stayed like that
until the water ran cold, and then she took a deep breath and decided it was
time for her to cope, to move on and just do the best she could.
She wrapped herself in her kimono, gathered up her things and walked
back to the dorm. She gasped when she saw the door was open, she was sure she'd
shut it. What she saw next made her heart speed up, and go straight into
worry mode. Giles was sitting on her bed with her bra in his hands.
"Gile.. Uh Ripper?"
"Hello luv. I've been waiting for you." Giles looked her up and down.
"Mmm.. I do like what you're wearing."
Willow was suddenly more aware of how thin the cotton robe actually
was, and of how it clung to her still wet body. She was also aware of the heat
slowly making it's way through her body. She was still feeling aroused from
her shower, and seeing the man she'd once had the biggest crush on fondling
her bra wasn't helping matters much. She pulled her kimono tighter around
her, and took a step closer to him.
"Giles, I'll take that thanks. You can go wait out in the hallway while
I get dressed if you don't mind."
"Not at all. But I can't really go and stand out there now, can I? What
would people think? A man walking out of your room just after you came
back, wet, from the shower? No, I think I better stay here to protect your
reputation."
Willow swallowed. Something was wrong with Giles, he'd never acted like
this before. Not since... Willow's mind came to a screeching halt ...the
band candy incident. Her own words echoed in her mind. "Even if you'd eaten
3 boxes of the band candy.." Oh god, the spell had worked. She hadn't
seen 'Ripper' first hand, but Buffy had told her all about it. This man was
dangerous. This man was still fondling her bra. This man was watching
where the kimono came together. THIS man was ogling her. She was at a loss as
to what to do. Her body was screaming at her "He's a man, use him for what
he's here for." And her head was busy telling her that this man sitting in
front of her was Giles. The ex-librarian. Buffy's Watcher. Her friend. Then
her head betrayed her and she stopped seeing Giles as Giles, and started to
see him as Ripper, a man. A gorgeous man. A gorgeous man who wanted her.
She wasn't quite sure how to react, but Willow had a feeling she'd lost
control of the situation when she'd walked in the door anyway. It was
all she could do to hang on for the ride. Giles had a dangerous glint in
his eyes, and Willow idly wondered how she could get out of it, and then
wondered why she wanted to. Then for a second she considered the
consequences. She swallowed.
"Giles, this isn't you. I think my spell... I think my spell actually
worked. You don't want to be here with me. I'm like a daughter to you,
just like Buffy." She stopped and looked him up and down.
Giles stood, and cupped Willow's face in his hand.
"Willow, Willow,Willow. My dear sweet, naïve, little Willow." He smiled
at her, and for a moment she forgot exactly who she was dealing with. "You
think I could watch Buffy training for years on end, in her various
states of undress and STILL think of her as a daughter? I've never seen any of
you as my children. How can I see anyone who has been through the battles
we've been through as a child?"
Willow's insides had turned to jelly the moment he touched her cheek.
She didn't care about anything anymore. All she wanted to do was feel this
man inside her, a voice at the back of her head told her it was probably
the spell. But she told it she didn't care. She just wanted to feel this
man weave his magic around her. "Giles.." the word was an entreaty.
Giles looked down at the woman in his arms, it had been so long since
he'd been able to touch a living breathing woman. A very small part of him
was whispering it was wrong to be doing this, but he ignored that. He
grinned again, she didn't know what she was messing with but she was going to
find out. She was going to enjoy it too. He'd never had any complaints. He
was going to enjoy this, it was obvious she wanted him. His name was all
he'd been waiting for, even at his worst he'd never take someone against
their will. He allowed his hands to roam, and even as he kept eye contact
with this delicious red head he imagined her blonde friend was standing
behind him. He grinned at her again, and saw her shy answering smile.
"No need to be scared sweet Willow. I'd never hurt you. You know that."
As he finished, he lowered his lips to meet her own, and was only a little
surprised when he felt her tongue begin the duel with his own. 'Saucy
little thing' he thought. His hand started to knead her breast, and when she
moaned he knew she was his. She would do whatever he asked of her. And ask of
her he did.
It was hours later before Willow begged him no more. She was exhausted,
well and truly spent. Giles had taught her in the past few hours things that
she'd never even dreamed of, but she knew beyond the trace of a doubt that
she wanted to try it again. Now that she'd had a taste of this side of
Giles she didn't know if she wanted to give it up.
The sun set, casting a golden hue across the campus. Giles lay back
well satisfied that he'd done what he came here to do. He smiled to himself
and proceeded to let himself fall asleep, a small smirk on his face as he
wondered what would happen if Buffy was to walk in on him naked in
Willow's bed, his arms wrapped around the red head.
The possibility of Buffy coming home didn't even occur to Willow at
all, she was too busy thinking things over. Giles had made her realise a few
things. Oz had left but the part of Willow she thought was dead had come back
to life. She wasn't in love with Giles, she'd been caught up in the
tendrils of her own spell. But he had made her remember she was a woman again. He'd
shown her things that she didn't think even Oz could teach her. She was
grateful to him, and knew she would never forget what had happened.
Before she went to sleep she muttered "Let the healing power begin. Let my
Will be safe again. As these words Of peace are spoken, let this harmful Spell.
be broken." and allowed sleep to claim her. In his sleep, Giles pulled her closer.
The first thing Giles was aware of was the soft body curled into his
own. He gently stroked the hair on her head and enjoyed the sensation of
sharing a bed with a woman again. Then slowly his memory came back, and in a
flash he jumped out of bed putting as much distance between him and Willow as
possible, pulling his jeans on quickly.
"Ow!" He exclaimed as he stubbed his toe.
Willow woke and sat up to look at him.
"Willow! How could you... How could you let me.." Giles tried to form the words.
"How could I let you make me see sense again? How could I let you make
love to me for hours? How could I possibly thankyou for what you did to me?"
Willow's eyes never left his. "Giles, you made me realise that no
matter what Oz did, and no matter how much it hurts-- it will fade in time.
Last night I didn't even think about Oz when I was in your arms, all I
thought about was how much better it was when you could let go. With us,
nothing mattered Giles, I didn't have to pretend. I could be just who I am..
and you.. you let yourself go. You need to do that now and then."
"Willow." Giles' eyes bored deep into her own. She could see him
struggle with himself, the part of him that was Ripper and the part that was
pure stuffy brit. He sat down on the edge of the bed with his head in his
hands. He'd let the Ripper in him have the upper hand. "I just don't
understand how I could.." he trailed off.
"It was the spell Giles." Willow sighed and looked down at the
bedsheet. "My will. It misfired." She risked a glance up into his face, and felt a
wave of guilt wash over her. She could see he was still blaming himself.
Quietly she whispered, "Hey it takes two to tango you know."
Giles let out a heavy sigh.
"Giles," Willow whispered, "Giles. Look at me."
He looked up, the pain clearly etched upon his face.
"Was it really that bad?" her voice shook as she whispered the question.
"God Willow. No. You were great, it's me. It's the fact that I allowed
myself to be manipulated.. I should have fought it, I should have.. I
should have done something to stop it from happening."
"Giles. It's okay, it's really okay. We are the only two who know it
happened, and if you want we can pretend that it never did." Willow's
eyes filled with tears at the thought.
Giles moved forward to stroke Willow's cheek gently. "Willow. I don't
regret what happened, honestly. I just regret that I allowed it to happen.
There's a difference."
Willow nodded, and then watched Giles as he proceeded to finish
dressing. He smiled at her gently and bent down to kiss her gently one last time.
Then he turned and walked out of the door. She would never look at him in the
same way again. She knew better than just to think of him as "Giles." He'd
never be just Giles again.
She smiled and got out of bed, ready to face the new day with a smile
on her face. Things were going to change, and she was going to be ready to
face those changes head on.
