Thank you to my sister Helen, for Beta reading this and letting me know how to make it flow better. And the first paragraph is true. This happened to my mother while on the way to the hospital to have me. LOL
March 16, 1964
While on the way to the hospital every time her mother moaned in pain of labor her father would push the gas peddle down a little harder. With the roads being snow covered her mother learned real quick to hold in the moans.
Everything about her birth was normal. The exception was when her parents had a visitor afterwards. He came to them to prepare them that she was special. That she possibly had a destiny to fulfill. One day she could be the chosen one. Until that time her “normal” life wouldn’t be so normal. One day he would return to begin her training. Until then they would raise her.
Now to say that this didn’t upset her parents would be a lie. They were so upset that good would do this to their little girl. But then Mitchell explained to them all that he could, within reason, what she would be up against and that it could be she that stood in the way of evil reining on earth. It was knowing that their girl was a warrior for good that helped them in the days to follow.
Mitchell explained to them that until her 8th birthday she was not to know of her destiny. On her 8th birthday he would come back and start her early training. He could do the early training at her house and then, on her 10th birthday, take her to a place where it would be safer to train her.
And thus he left them to raise this girl, this potential.
