Alone, I lie in wait, wondering if he'll ever find me and smile for he always does. Just as I think it's time to give up all hope, he's there smiling down at me pulling me up into his arms, it's here I belong.

"I belong in your arms, Giles, I always have and I always will."
"Shhh Buffy," he whispers, "I love you dearest, lets get you home and safely into bed."
"Will you cuddle with me? I don't want to be alone."
"Yes."
I chew my bottom lip and smile, I'm where I belong and we both know it.
