Buffy watched as they fought, yelling and screaming.

She begged them to stop.

At the sound of her voice they did.

Their eyes met, and realisation crept into them.

Buffy closed her eyes, the image of their kiss forever burned into her brain.

She turned and walked away.

She'd lost them both.
