The fire rages, we burn, our bodies destroyed.
We look at each others ghostly forms, and drift towards the other.
"I guess we are destined to be together forever, huh, Giles?" I smile at my lover.
"Even in death we were never meant to part, my love." he answers, his face is charred beyond recognition.
I awake with a start, and he pulls me closer,comforting me, telling me it was just a dream.
I beg him to make love to me then to chase the nightmares away. I sleep sated in his arms.
